Although the Jewelers Equality Alliance, Inc. is registered as a Not-for-Profit corporation in the State of New Jersey, it has not yet received it's IRS Letter of Determination as a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable corporation.
That means the money you donate to us today is not immediately tax-deductable.
We do not expect to receive our Letter of Determination until mid-2016.
However, once received, we will be able to provide you with a charitable contribution letter that you can then apply to your 2016 tax return.
We're asking for your help during this initial launch phase of JEA. Your donation will help us achieve our initial goal of developing all our education material.
