The mission of the JEA is to support and teach the jewelry community, from designer to jewelry store, to create a truly inclusive shopping experience for their clientele. Same-sex couples seek out businesses that respect them, and the jewelry industry has been slow to adopt methods in bringing about a mutually beneficial relationship. JEA wants to make the same-sex couples of the world know their commitment is supported by the jewelry industry, and that they know which business will welcome and serve them openly. JEA provides jewelers with education certifications and assistance developing advertising materials to help build those relationships. |
